We have Chinotto back in stock! Chinotto is a type of bitter orange used primarily as a flavoring for beverages. It is used to flavor Campari and soft drinks. We currently have San Pellegrino's Chinotto soda, as well as a new brand, Lurisia. They both make excellent mixers, but are also great served over ice with a lemon wedge.

Scrappy's Bitters is a Seattle based company that produces handmade cocktail bitters. Scrappy's makes a very clean flavored bitter that is equally at home in a fancy cocktail or a glass of soda water. We are also carrying Bittermen's, a New York based company that makes some weird and intriguing flavors. Check out their websites for great cocktail recipes and ideas.

Petite Nevat is a wonderfully soft goat cheese from Catalonia in Spain. It has a rich bloomy rind and a slightly crumbly center. This cheese pairs great with Cava, the sparkling wine of Catalonia. Mild and creamy, this cheese is sure to be a hit at your next party.

Artisan Balsamic condiments from Acetaia Terra del Tuono. They are combining real balsamic vinegar with fresh fruit flavors to create a traditional Italian condiment. We have four flavors, Fig, Pear, Strawberry, and Citrus. Traditionally used as a complement for steak or chicken, it could also be drizzled on ice cream or used as a glaze.

These Extra Virgin Olive Oils from Puglia are bursting with fresh olive flavor. These oils are cold pressed using a traditional granite olive press, and are then matured underground in specially made stone cisterns. The Mosto is the raw unfiltered oil, while the Vivace has been filtered. Both have an unbelievably rich olive flavor and intense green color. 

Tillen Farms is a company based in Yakima that produces the finest pickled vegetables we've ever had. Crispy snap peas, green beans, and zesty asparagus are great on an Antipasto platter, in a Bloody Mary, or just straight out of the jar! They also make great Maraschino Cherries, using no nasty artificial colors or flavors. 

Beit-Yitzhak Israeli fruit spread is a wonderful product made sweetened with pineapple juice instead of sugar. It is 100% fruit and has no preservatives or artificial ingredients. 

We currently have all sorts of imported flours and semolina, especially for past-making. The Granoro "00" and the little red bag of Caputo are equivalent to the Caputo "00" we have in bulk. The Sfoglia Gold is a "00" flour made from softer wheat and is intended specifically for fresh pasta. We also have both Italian and Greek semolina and SQUID INK! Make a batch of black pasta or rice tonight!

They're back! Preserved lemons, which are pickled in salt, are an essential ingredient in Middle-Eastern cooking, lending a salty citrus flavor to hummus, roasted chicken, and Moroccan tagines. The lemons are usually rinsed or blanched to remove some of the salt prior to cooking, and every part of the fruit is used, including the rind.

Local Italian bakery La Panzanella is providing us with great crackers to complement fine cheeses. These Croccantini, an Italian flatbread cracker, come in a wide variety of flavors; Black Pepper, Sesame, Fennel, Garlic, and Rosemary. We also have mini Croccantini with flavors such as Chipotle, Red Chili Basil, and Cinnamon Sugar.
